With summer at full stride, there's some new announcements from Nintendo! You know what that means... updated wallpapers! ... and other stuff! So... let's get down to business on the new topics...
The Nintendo 3DS Mega Price Cut
Have no fear! The 3DS isn't going anywhere. Neither is Nintendo. What the 'analysts' don't know is that we've got some mighty important Nintendo titles on the way to the 3DS later this year, and this new price point will only help the wave of Nintendo's unseen success! Here's Nintendo's problem: They're not releasing systems with Mario games anymore. Not just to single out Mario, but their other big hitters too. No new Zelda game either? Ouch. They focussed on 3rd Party support first with the wrong system. Mario should've been out with the 3DS day one... and I guarantee you Red Hat himself would sell 20M units. It's just the truth. Nintendo does need 3rd Party support, but it was the wrong time to focus on it with such a fragile device that's hard to market anyway. I went to the store to give the 3DS a try, and Steeldiver isn't a system seller for me. If I had been able to play Mario, I probably would've walked out of the store with one. I just hope Nintendo learned their lesson... launch systems with brand name titles! The last Mario launch was in 1996... so come on!
NEW Titles and Logos!
Nintendo announced their big slice of price in the 3DS, to also swoop in and give us a November and December releases for the new Mario plat-former and racer. Along with that, came their official names!
Hello, Super Mario 3D Land (coming November) and Mario Kart 7 (coming December)!
What interesting names! Nobody would've guessed those... which makes them perfect! It shows that Mario is back on the handhelds in new adventures instead of remaking older ones! Also, it shows Mario Kart may be taking a different turn. Who knows? But I approve of the new titles... so that's why I got to work and made new stuff! Be sure to check it out!
That's it folks, stick around! A lot more is to come!
